Understanding Mom

I’ve thrown around dozens of ideas for this post all weekend. However, as soon as I had an idea I could sink my teeth into, I’d dismiss it for one reason or another. I’m sure that all my fragmented thoughts will eventually become posts at some point but, that day will not be today.

I’m choosing to make this short, sweet and to the point not only because I’ve been feeling a flare coming on (again), but because I want today to be one of understanding. I want people to understand not only me, but the effect Crohn’s Disease, Celiac Disease, PSC, and/or Cancer can have on a mother. With that, I encourage you to go back and read some of my previous musings.

  1. I can understand your conflict in writing about this holiday, Shay. There are more of us than you can imagine yet. And, oh btw, that is a beautiful picture of you and your two beautiful sons! Love, Dana

  2. Shay can you add pinterest to your share buttons, so I can share out your blog to some more social networks for you 🙂 hope that flare didn’t take hold.

  3. I thought that it was. My apologies. I’ve added everything to the list now though.
Thank you for sharing my musings.
It’s not severe but, unfortunately so. 😦
